DESCRIPTION:2 consecutive weeks September 19 and 26 This class is best suited for a confident beginner/intermediate sewist.  The “Batty” quilt pattern is by Running Doe Quilts. Finished size is 56′ X 70″. The fabric provided will be enough to make the quilt top.  This class is led by Theresa\, a very accomplished quilter and instructor. ***Kit will be provided for this class. *** 4.5 yards of Beautiful high-quality batiks will be provided by Batiks Plus More. You really do not have to bring anything. You don’t even have to shop.  We are going to hit the ground running.  Fabric and pattern are provided. Machine\, thread\, rotary cutters\, mats\, irons etc. will be here to use. (You may bring your machine if you choose to.)   Sept 19-5-8 PM We will review the pattern and begin cut the pieces and begin sewing.\n\nSept 26-5-8 PM We will continue to sew and discuss batting\, binding and finishing your quilt.  There may be some homework to finish the top.You will have the option to schedule a private class to quilt your project on the long arm quilting machine for an additional charge.

This class is led by Theresa\, a very accomplished quilter and instructor. July 18-5-7 PM You need not bring anything to this class. You will receive guidance on fabric selection during this session. Your pattern will be provided.\n\nAugust 1-5-7 PM You will supply your fabric and thread for this session as we will learn cutting techniques and begin to sew. You can bring your machine or use ours. Some of the sewing you will complete at home\, or you may sew in the Studio this week using our machines on a day that there are not scheduled classes if you do not own a machine.\n\nAugust 15-5-7 PM Learn about borders\, bindings and finishing your quilt.You will have the option to schedule a private class to quilt your project on the long arm quilting machine for an additional charge.

DESCRIPTION:3 nonconsecutive Tuesday Evenings starting March 19  This class is best suited for a confident beginner sewist that would like to learn how to make quilts. The Twin Star 3-yard quilt is very beginner friendly and uses a variety of techniques that will help you start your quilting journey. This class is led by Theresa\, a very accomplished quilter and instructor. March 19th  5:00-7:00pm:  You need not bring anything to this class. You will receive guidance on fabric selection during this session.\n\nApril 2nd  5:00-8:00pm:  You will supply your fabric and thread for this session as we will learn cutting techniques and begin to sew. You can bring your machine or use ours. Some of the sewing you will complete at home.\n\nApril 16th  5:00-8:00pm: Learn about borders\, bindings and finishing your quilt.You will have the option to schedule a private class to quilt your project on the long arm quilting machine for an additional charge.

SUMMARY:Sew Silly Superbowl Jelly Roll Race Party
DESCRIPTION:As if we need a reason to sew! Bring your beverage of choice\, a snack to share\, thread and a fabric jelly roll (40 strips).   Seats are limited for this free\, fun sew along.  This event is best suited for an intermediate sewist (or very confident beginner). Share some laughs and snacks while constructing a jelly roll throw quilt.  You can use your machine or ours.  Instructors will be on hand for guidance\, but the project is a simple one.  Sew all the strips together to make a quilt top. We will all vote for our favorite\, and the winner will get to schedule a free session to long arm quilt their jelly roll quilt! In case of inclement weather\, event will be cancelled.  If you RSVP and then decide you cannot attend\, please let us know so that we can fill your spot.  If event fills and you would like to be put on waitlist for cancellations\, please let us know.  This will be first come first served. We will be done in plenty of time to get home for the half time show!

SUMMARY:Easy Quilted Border Table Runner
DESCRIPTION:You will use the long arm machine for this one! \n\n\n\nIn this class you will learn a fun and easy way to make a table runner using border print fabrics.         This class is suited for a very confident beginner/intermediate sewist.  We will include all fabric\, backing and batting\, except the binding (1/4 yd). We will get them constructed\, and you will be able to quilt it on the long arm machine with guidance from our instructor\, Teresa during the class.  You will be taught alternate techniques for making this at home on your domestic sewing machine and without binding as well.      You will be able to pick from the selection of fabric themes pictured below.  After signing up\, you will receive an email or text message regarding your fabric choice.  This will happen in the order the registration\, so the earlier you register\, the more you will have to choose from.
