DESCRIPTION:3 Consecutive Thursday Evenings starting August 24th. This class is best suited for a confident beginner sewist that would like to learn how to make quilts.  The Twin Star 3-yard quilt is very beginner friendly and uses a variety of techniques that will help you start your quilting journey.  This class is led by Theresa\, a very accomplished quilter and instructor.  August 24 @ 5:00 pm-7:00 pm– You need not bring anything to this class.  You will receive guidance on fabric selection during this session.  August 31 @ 5:00 pm-8:00 pm– You will supply your fabric and thread for this session as we will learn cutting techniques and begin to sew.  You can bring your machine or use ours.  Some of the sewing you will complete at home\, or you may sew in the Studio this week using our machines on a day that there are not scheduled classes if you do not own a machine.September 7 @ 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm-Learn about borders\, bindings and finishing your quilt.

DESCRIPTION:This is a 2 part class where you will be completing this super silly dinosaur toy.  This class is best suited for a confident (not new) beginner/intermediate sewist. It is open to kids 8 and older\, and adult kids!  You will have the naming rights to your new friend\, and he will receive his own embroidered collar with his name!  Just bring 3/4 yard of quilters cotton fabric. (small prints or solid works best) Everything else is provided.   This project involves following a pattern\, marking a pattern\, machine and hand sewing.
