SUMMARY:Beginner Sewing 101
DESCRIPTION:4 consecutive Thursday morning classes are at 10 am on March 20\, 27\, April 3 and 10. This class is perfect for a beginner who wishes to learn the basic skills needed for sewing.  We will start with all of the information in “Introduction to Sewing” so no prerequisite class is required.   We will take the mystery out of the sewing machine\, needles\, fabric types and selection.  You will learn how to measure yourself and you will make a pair of flannel pajama pants in this course.  Space is limited to 4 participants so that each student gets the personal attention they need get the most out of this class.  Fabric requirement is 3 yards of flannel fabric which you will not need to have for the first class.  We will provide everything else including the sewing machine.

DESCRIPTION:This workshop is best suited for a confident beginner/intermediate sewist. There is a limit of 4 students per session. In this workshop you will receive project assistance by Bella\, a master tailor\, seamstress and fiber artist. Do you have a quality clothing item that you love\, but just needs an update? Do you like to upcycle your thrift finds to make them uniquely yours\, or just fit better? Do you need ideas of how to restyle an item from “meh” to “WOW”? Take that dress to the next level! Breathe new life into those ripped up jeans. Add your own twist in your home decor. You may use our sewing machines or bring your own. You will need to bring in thread\, the project you wish to alter and any notions\, ribbons buttons\, fabric or baubles you would like to add to your project.
