Beginner Sewing 101
4 consecutive Thursday morning classes at 10 AM on March 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th

his class is perfect for a beginner who wishes to learn the basic skills needed for sewing. We will start with all of the information in “Introduction to Sewing” so no prerequisite class is required.
We will take the mystery out of the sewing machine, needles, fabric types and selection. You will learn how to measure yourself and you will make a canvas tote bag in this course. Space is limited to 4 participants so that each student gets the personal attention they need get the most out of this class. Fabric requirement is 1/2 yard of canvas for exterior of bag and 1 yard of coordinating canvas for the interior and handle which you will not need to have for the first class. We will provide everything else including the sewing machine.
