Introduction to Quilting (3 Weeks)

3 Consecutive Thursday Evenings starting September 14th

This class is best suited for a confident beginner sewist that would like to learn how to make quilts. The Twin Star 3-yard quilt is very beginner friendly and uses a variety of techniques that will help you start your quilting journey. This class is led by Theresa, a very accomplished quilter and instructor.

• September 14th @ 5:00 pm-7:00 pm– You need not bring anything to this class. You will receive guidance on fabric selection during this session.
• September 21st @ 5:00 pm-8:00 pm– You will supply your fabric and thread for this session as we will learn cutting techniques and begin to sew. You can bring your machine or use ours. Some of the sewing you will complete at home, or you may sew in the Studio this week using our machines on a day that there are not scheduled classes if you do not own a machine.
• September 28th @ 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm-Learn about borders, bindings and finishing your quilt.
