Beginner Quilting (Rail Fence)

This two-session Beginner Quilting class is designed for those who are brand new to quilting or have felt intimidated to get started. Using a fast and approachable pattern, students will learn foundational quilting techniques in a supportive, step-by-step environment.
- May 30 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- June 6 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
During the first session, students will be introduced to key concepts including fabric selection, color coordination, and how to determine the correct types and amounts of fabric for a quilting project. No materials are required for this session.
For the second session, students will return with their selected fabrics and begin cutting and sewing their quilt project with guidance from the instructor.
Skill Level: Beginner Quilter and knows how to operate a sewing machine.
Project Type: Easy and fast-pattern quilt project
This class is ideal for anyone looking to confidently begin their quilting journey with expert instruction and a manageable, rewarding project.
